Children's Literature Roundtable of Montreal hosts

An Evening with Sheree Fitch

Don't miss this rare chance to catch this award-winning Nova Scotia poet and author! The ebullient and energetic wordsmith is best known for her rhyming picture books such as Sleeping Dragons All Around which was re-released in a 20th anniversary edition in 2009. Fitch's novels for teens include The Gravesavers (2005) and One More Step (2002). Her adult works are the novel Kiss the Joy as it Flies (2008) and poetry collection In This House There are Many Women (2005). W.I.S.E. Words Writing Workshop with Sheree Fitch. Breathe, Stretch, Write!

Sheree Fitch offers a four hour  w.i.s.e. words writing workshop for writers at any stage of the writing  journey. Through a series of guided exercises guaranteed to spark the creative juices, participants will write, share, explore and discover authentic voices and visions.  

DATE: Saturday, April 17th 2010

TIME: 10:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.  

(We will break for lunch from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Note participants are required to provide their own lunch. There are cafés and other eateries near to the location where you can purchase lunch.)  

LOCATION: Montreal West Town Hall (50 Westminster South, Montreal West)  

COST: $75
